The Mould Assessors testing process involves thorough inspection and sampling to identify visible and non-visible mould within the property, and to assess its type and concentrations. The results provide valuable insight into the extent of any mould concerns and the specific types of mould present. This information is crucial for our expert team to develop effective solutions to eliminate mould and prevent further issues in the future.
Air sampling involves collecting and analyzing air samples to determine the type and concentration of mold spores or other airborne contaminants in and around the property. This helps determine the presence of mold, assess indoor air quality, identify potential sources of mold growth, and establish the extent of mould contamination. Since mould spores are invisible to the naked eye, air sampling is particularly useful when visual inspections alone cannot confirm the extent or types of mold present.
Mould testing and sampling requires specific meters, experience, specialised knowledge and other equipment to accurately obtain a valid sample. This includes surface swabs, bio tapes, ERMI, and ATP readings. These samples assist in identifying harmful species of mould and their concentration levels within the property.
Once samples are collected, these are sent to and analysed by accredited Australian laboratories. Independent analysis assist in identifying the genera or species that may be pathogenic and or immunocompromising, and the concentrations in which they are present. Our team of experts will interparet these result and provide you with a detailed report.
