Our rapid meth testing is a fast and efficient service to quickly identify any property or surface which is contaminated by Meth. This type of testing offers preliminary results which are fully documented and guaranteed. Instant screening provides initial findings which indicate a positive or negative results but will not include contamination levels. For accurate analysis and contamination levels, a detailed assessment with laboratory analysis will confirm and quantify results. 

Detailed Screening Assessment

$295 Assessment Fee + $145/Sample

A Detailed Screening Assessment is a room by room type of methamphetamine residue testing testing that provides individual analysis per sample. Individual samples are analysed by the laboratory to provide an detailed and accurate picture on the location and levels of any contamination. This type of testing is required when a “Screening Assessment” has exceeded 0.5μg (maximum acceptable level as set out by Australian guidelines)

Each sample is taken performed in accordance with NIOSH Method 9111. Samples of each room/area is required to give you a complete overview of the property. The lab analysis is critical to plan decontamination and create a scope of work to bring the property back to habitable levels. This is also useful for anyone wanting to accurately understand where the contamination is located as the entire property might not be affected and therefore only a limited amount of remediation may be required.

The detailed screening assessment aims to take 3-5 samples per room from a variety of surfaces. This ensures that meth residue distributed throughout the property does not get overlooked or hidden by things such as fresh paint. Samples are not only taken from painted wall but also include non painted surfaces and air extraction points. This assessment is extremely thorough to ensure no contamination is overlooked.
